I had four year old S in the studio in June and wow, she knew how to keep me running after her! S was full of energy and life and loved the camera. She was a complete joy to shoot and I look forward to shooting her yearly! :-)

Introducing Yasmin Newman

How did this all begin?

Photography has always been one of my biggest loves since I was thirteen and was given my first digital point & shoot, I went round like mad shooting my friends whenever I could. When I left senior school I decided to take it more seriously and took photography as an A level in college, I concentrated on creative fashion & beauty images. It wasn't till I left college that I got thinking seriously about what photography means to me.

What happened next....

By this time I had done a few shoots of friend's sons and daughters and smiling mums, I decided to why not go for it? They were always happy with the images I had snapped so I decided to take family portraits seriously. I brought myself home studio equipment and got shooting like mad!

In June 2010 I decided to set up Yasmin Newman Photography as a fully fledged business, as I must say so far so good!

And now...

I love getting to know each of my clients & helping them to create gorgeous and memorable photographs that they will always love to get out of the photo box to show their kids when there older. I'm so fortunate that they invite me into their lives to observe and capture some of life's most precious moments.

My ambition as a photographer is to capture those magic moments.. the personality... cheeky smiles.. and the everlasting spirit in a photograph that can be looked back upon with a massive grin.
My little business is growing every day and watch this space because I hope i'll bring some smiles to everyone who views my photographs. :)
